A home equity line of credit is an extremely popular form of home
equity loan. It is similar to any other credit line in that you can
borrow the money, pay it back, and then borrow it again. Money can
only be borrowed for a certain length of time though called the
"draw period" which is then followed by the "repayment period" where
the money must be paid back in regular payments. During the draw
period you have the option of making interest only payments like any
line of credit.
